Goddgames Video Game Creator Download Install Start Here

Create your own games, worlds, sculpture and photos/backgrounds using the visual (no coding) GODDgames editor! You will first need to download and install the WGGE game engine and a few other files. These are available on Etsy.

See the video and instruction list below to get started, it gives a nice review for using your FILE EXPLORER on Windows (srry not available for Apple) and launches the whole world of Bluelining!

  1. Got to Etsy, NortonStreetGallery find Artist Maze Builder or  GODDWARS basic builders kit. Either is fine.  Click on the image and purchase, either credit card or paypal. You may want to set up an etsy account.
  2. Completing the purchase will deliver the zip files from Norton Street to your account on Etsy and you will still need to download them. You can go to upper right of home screen, “your account,” “purchases and reviews” and you will see the files that have been delivered to your account. Go ahead and download them. They will go to the downloads folder on your computer.
  3. Now, unzip the files – they can keep the same name and will still be in your downloads folder. We will install these now by moving them into a GODD folder which we will now create. Create this while in file explorer by finding the “Windows SSD” or “OS:C” or “Local disk: C” whatever the name of  your C drive, right clicking on it and click on “new” – create a new folder which you will name GODD.
  4. All of your files from the download will go into this GODD folder!! There are lots files and sub folders that will go into the GODD folder and the specific placement does matter so that the games and the editor work properly. Here’s what the GODD folder will eventually look like: bluelineacademy/folder-overview.html
  5. It is easiest if you move the downloaded and unzipped files and folders by copying / pasting into the new GODD folder by using either control C/V or R clicking.  Do this with each individual folder and  file so that your files look like the set up in the folder overview shown above.
  6. This iis where you might want to contact us if there are any questions or problems. We have blueline beginner sessions on Zoom, Mondays and Fridays at 10 am pacific and 9am respectively. Also, please also feel free contact us with any questions using form below!

The starter games are available for download on ETSY as Artist’s Maze Builder, SculptKit, or Basic Builders Kit and at Blueline Builders Lab1 and Lab2. You will need at least one of the etsy downloads to get the actual WGGE.EXE file which is the game engine. All of the downloads at Norton Street provide additional features and add ons to add to your GODD folder to help you build.

For those of you who are new to the gaming world this can all seem confusing but there is plent of support. You can review any part of the install instructions at Blueline Academy basics , and again, please feel free to bring questions and problems to the Monday 10am pacific or Friday 9am Zoom meetings, or contact us below.

Once you have gotten up and running, the fundamentals of creating a room and getting started building are detailed in the next video. Find this and several other videos; how to make doorways, connecting rooms and an RBOX etc  here
